The climate changes and more environmentally conscious working and production have also not escaped Quant.
In both 2004 and 2010, Quant moved into vacant buildings and made them more sustainable. When Quant again outgrew its scope in 2016, another vacant building was sought and purchased, whereby the building and the grounds were renovated and made more sustainable. This not only gives vacant buildings new opportunities, but is (usually) also considerably better for our environment and climate.
During the renovation phase in 2017, the current building will be equipped with a heat pump intended for heating the offices in winter and cooling in summer. A PV installation was added this spring and is now being extended to the roof of the outbuildings. This installation enables Quant to develop and produce energy neutrally.
